When we sent out a casting call for a five-year-old to play David as a child in "The Resurrection", we were very concerned about the fact that the boy would be involved in a scene that might frighten him. Fortunately, a friend at a local comic store put us in contact with Matt Jasper, who's son, Albion, was the right age. At five, Allie Jasper not only has the blonde hair and blue eyes we were looking for, but is already a horror movie fan. While we filmed the scene, Allie joked around about it and wondered why we weren't using more blood!
