Claire Curtis is a violin-maker from South Berwick, Maine. In "The Resurrection", she replaces Sherry Mitsui as Mrs. Henniker, since Sherry was busy with other commitments.

Claire did a fair amount of theatre back high school and college. In high school she was the third shepherd in "The Second Shepherd's Play" (performed in the original Middle English) and had a minor role in "King Lear".

In college, Claire was a chorus member in several Gilbert and Sullivan plays, and did backstage work for "Gypsy" and lighting for "House of Blue Leaves". She played a major role in Durrenmatt's "The Physicists", playing the insane psychiatrist Fraulein Doktor Mathilde von Zandh.

After college, she played Celia in Shakespeare's "As You Like It", put on by a local theatre group, and appeared as a musician in "A Midsummer's Night Dream".

Other performance venues supplanted theatre work. For several years, Claire worked huge puppets at Boston First Night, as part of the Upper Hand Theatre Company. She also has been an occasional singer/performer in local venues.
