Tim Robinson is an experienced actor, currently affiliated with The Player's Ring in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He responded to an ad we put out locally, and we met with him for a reading. As soon as I heard the way he was able to bring life to the "Mariposa monologue" (a crucial, yet extremely long monologue in the first half of the film), I knew I wanted him to play Mr. Allen! Even though he was only scheduled for a couple days of shooting, Tim arrived on location with his lines down pat, and required very little direction. It was a pleasure to work with him. He recently completed work on a terrific short film called The Listeners ( http://www.bulkheadpictures.com/listeners.htm ), directed by Michael Gillis, and also starring Kristan Raymond Robinson and Bernie Tato.
