Eugene Conn was introduced to us through Bob Pearson. He seemed perfect for the part of the school bully, Hank. We were also surprised, one morning, when Eugene walked up to the blackboard, upon which Erich had written a phrase in Attic Greek, as a joke, and began correcting the accent marks! Unfortunately, one of Eugene's scenes (the first take of the gym scene) had to be cut, since I screwed up one of the major shots, and he wasn't able to make it for the re-shoot. This scene can be found in the "Deleted Scenes" section of the DVD.
